Our wallpapers are printed using the traditional art of surface printing, a technique first developed in 1838 to recreate the character and beauty of hand block printing. Nearly two centuries later, our papers are still printed on the original centuries-old machines, where layers of water-based colors are applied to the paper through engraved relief rollers.
