We explored another craft from another part of India for 2021. Introducing our new spring collection - The Ikat edit. Ikat fabrics made on handloom is a very intricate craft. It uses resist dyeing method to create beautiful motifs and patterns on the fabrics. Traditionally, Ikat textiles have been a symbol of status, wealth, power and prestige because of the time and intricate skill involved in the weaving process. Made in a southern rural village of Pochampally, also world famous for its craft, we present to you a modern take on Ikat, keeping the essence and beauty of the craft alive.

We designed these luxuriously soft and warm scarves keeping the modern and sustainability-conscious women in mind. They are functional, stylish, handmade with fine natural wool yet affordable and most importantly a small step in preserving the heritage and supporting the families behind the craft. We say no to factories and yes to supremely talented and skilled artisans who have been weaving since generations but struggle to get their products to market in today's world of mass-produced textiles.
Our scarves are always produced in small batches which means your wardrobe would always be full of unique handmade beauties. To shop, visit our full collection here.
Add some French flair to your outfit with these Parisian inspired neckerchiefs! Infused with botanical colors from plant pigments like vegetable pits and peels, compost flowers, herbs and spices, these neckerchiefs/bandanas are a beautiful way to embrace nature in our wardrobes.
They are made with our finest handwoven mulberry silk, woven in our weaver's studio in a remote village in India. Each piece is individually hand-dyed in our Brooklyn studio using multiple processes over 5-7 days. This is our favorite zero waste sustainable collection. Shop the collection here.
