Handcrafted and handwoven in a small village situated in the valley of Gods – Kullu, the designs have been inspired from local motifs which were discontinued by the society 30 years back to cater to a market which needed quick and cheaper shawls. Bringing a piece of heritage and craftsmanship to our customers makes them more meaningful to both our artisans and our customers.
Our weaving partner, Bhuttico is one of the oldest weaving societies and we are proud to have collaborated with them for our woolen scarf creations. Bhutti Weavers have been renowned for handloom weaving. Before India got independence, a group of 12 progressive handloom weavers joined hands and registered a Handloom Weavers Cooperative in 1944. Since then, the cooperative has been weaving beautiful textiles and has been given various National and International awards like the National Award Gold, Handloom Weavers National Award, Internationally recognized Woolmark certification for their quality craftsmanship.
