Parita borrows from the bold geometry of vintage quilts, where simple shapes come together to create movement and rhythm. The pinwheel forms are softened by fine hand-drawn stripes and a sweet Dogwood flower, bringing a touch of whimsy to the structure. Graphic yet nostalgic, it feels like an old textile reimagined with a playful spirit.
Our wallpapers are printed using the traditional art of surface printing, a technique first developed in 1838 to recreate the character and beauty of hand block printing. Nearly two centuries later, our papers are still printed on the original centuries-old machines, where layers of water-based colors are applied to the paper through engraved relief rollers.
