Our paper art is made of textile scraps and is made by hand from start to finish. Using fallen leaves from the nearby garden, our women artists use the handmade paper as their canvas to create unique imprints of Ashoka leaves on it.
Our handmade paper is made from cotton rags obtained from the waste production at local textile mills. It is free from toxic substances and its manufacture does not require any cutting of trees. The handmade paper is imprinted with fallen leaves to create design and texture. It is not only a zero waste production process but also provides employment to many, mostly women from the surrounding villages.
By choosing this handmade piece, you help preserve craftsmanship and support rural artisan communities. We truly appreciate your support.
